I know the LS plants are dam impressive I have a 05 GTO that with H/C and bolts ons would put down around 500rwhp, but I really want to build a 6 if I go with a Buick. Honestly I would be looking at a long term project and 25000 wouldn't be to bad I can wrench on things myself no problem...- reaper68

Ok, basically what I am looking for is a dead reliable engine for astreet driven car that's capable of mid 10's. (Yeah I know these are the cars you chase with wrenches). Anyways which block would you guys start with Stock, Stage, or the TA block.- reaper68

Yeah I thought about that with the F&F 4 that would seriously piss me off if a bunch of idiots buy all the GN and Turbo T's I've been saving up money to buy one of these things and do it right for a while now and with my luck it will jump just like the supras did- reaper68

Thanks guys I purchased a couple of them. I'm basically trying to get all the background I can on them so when I purchase one next summer I have all the information I can get. Hopefully between this site and the others I can get one put together that will run better than my 05 gto- reaper68

Cast VS Stamped will make a big difference. typically they run between 9-9.125
