I have a problem, my stock radiator fan sheered off of the motor and the fan plug and balist resistor blew up , why does this happen and what kind of fan can I go woth to fix this problem.

I have a 98 Firebird, with a v6 3800 motor, and I cannot find any speed parts for it. I was thinking of supercharging it, but cannot find the parts to do it. please write back with any info on how to make the car as fast as possible.
