Need cage put in

02 voltage
Have you tried replacing the 02 sensor? Running leaded fuel can kill an 02 sensor real quick. That is, if you run leaded fuel... If it's old and crusty, probabally needs replacing anyway. Also it wouldn't be a bad idea to run a EGT sensor. Better tuning can be done with one than just 02...- Rob B

Whats the Difference?
Yes, differences are present. I do believe that the 86 blocks had been beefed up in the side skirts. The 87 blocks had even more. I don't think the heads were different, but I am not 100% sure. Please correct me if I'm wrong on any point. Check out www.gnttype.org for some good information.- Rob B

SFI swap
A company called "Painless Wiring" is a good place to start. I have never delt with them or any products from them, but I do believe they can do custom work too. Seen a lot of their stuff on show cars and custom rods. May not be cheap, but I really don't know. Bet they have a web site...yup...- Rob B

Wiped cam?
You could have bent push rods. If you already have the valve covers off, go one step further and pull the rocker shafts off and remove the push rods. Best Way To Prime New Engine
Looking for suggestions on the best way to prime the oil pump on my new engine. Drill and a flat head screwdriver shaft? Think that might slip out of the slot and scratch the front cover or tweek the oil pump shaft itself. Is a special socket available? Thanks.- Rob B
