That LT1 you raced... If he’s got heads/cam (and the CC306 is a badass cam too!), plus 4.10s and tires that can hold them, plus a bunch of regular bolt-ons, he’s gonna be running low 12s (and even high 11s if he can really drive and is willing to powershift).

LS1s have NO PROBLEM making up for the lack of low end with a nice big stall converter. ;) But in stock form, it's very true that the LT1 feels much stronger down low. Right when the LT1s pull starts to fall off is when the LS1 really picks up.
