    Stock gas tank

    I bought that spectra 307c recently. I had heck getting it bolted in and ended up leaving the rubber off the straps. It may be my exhaust, I haven't had time to play with it more to understand why it's so tight.

    A few hours at 3 mph means you've recirculated your fuel a lot. I wonder if your fuel was hot and that caused some cavitation or flashing or some other problem. I can't explain it, but a parade is different than normal driving so there may be unusual conditions

    I think there's a plug to give access to the adjusting wheel. You may have to adjust it out quite a bit if the shoes have worn in to the drum

    I replaced my gas tank with one from spectra premium. It is baffled (welded walls dividing the internal space and a dog dish at the pump) and is stamped 307C, made in Taiwan, not Canada. Externally, it looks the same, except it is coated steel instead of shiny-ish ni-terne steel. I painted it...

    brandnu6 - is there a thread with info on your hood vent? I find it interesting. anyway - let me think out loud for a minute....if you attach the aux fuel tank to the vent line, it will just spill into the tank - so you would need a solenoid valve, or you would need to use the pump and pump it...
