2001 Buick Regal with Idel problem
I know this is a newer Regal but I am just trying to diagnose this problem before I try to tow it to a mechanic.It starts fine but if I do not hold the gas pedal down to keep the Idel up it dies is it a vacume leak or somthing or gas problem any help.Thanks Steve- slowhand

yes it is and still runs hot not as hot i can drive around town but it gets hot on the highway- slowhand

My 3.8 V6 carburated engine keeps getting hot I changed water pump still getting hot took thermostat completely out still gets hot is it a blown head gasket or a cracked head or something else oil pressure is good oh and I also changed the radiator next I guess I'll need to open her up not...- slowhand

Okay it does not so it is the the clutch deal is that exspensive to fix or can I do it myself to save a little and it is the 3.8 carb engine I would like to get it turbo charged but first I want to get my tranny going.thanks- slowhand

yes when i shift into reverse it does nothing all forward gears work fine- slowhand

Hello all I am new to this forum looks like a great place to get info on my 1978 Buick Regal it has the 3.8 V6 automaic trans that has a problem with going into reverse what do I need to do is it simple to fix or is it difficult any help would be appreciated thanks steve- slowhand
