    spicer th400 slip yoke w/spicer u-joint for stock d-shaft

    I have a spicer slip yoke for a th400 with a spicer 1310-gm 3r ujoint that only has about 30 miles on it and is in perfect condition. This will go right on your stock driveshaft. I paid $120 shipped from denny's driveshaft i'll take $75 + shipping.

    any insights as to what the problem could be?

    talking to a guy about buying his th400 he says sometimes when you shift to second it just free revs other times it goes right into gear. He said it had a fairbanks manual valve body kit in it. is this an internal problem or could it be his linkage not properly adjusted?

    it could be in first and maybe I just can't feel the shift.....I watched the rpm's and they didn't drop when I shifted I could feel it hit third though and the rpm's dropped. I guess I wouldn't feel it downshifting into first as it doesnt' have engine breaking in first.......... any opinions...

    everything works except first, feels like i'm taking off in second and only shifts when I shift from second to third, down shifting it'll go from third to second and nothing when I shift down to first. could over filling with fluid cause this?

    sounds like you wanted the "pro street" bars to keep the back seat, you have to order them seperate from the cage. I had to put a bend in my door bars to get them to clear the arm rest.
