Oil filter with M18x1.5 threads, anti-drain back valve and internal by-pass valve

Is it just me or can no one find posts from before like 2009? Whatever I did has been working since then. I didn't just wing it. There was some detailed "instructions" on this "mod" that I did. Damn. It seems like I can't access the old tech archives on gnttype.org either.

Oil filter with M18x1.5 threads, anti-drain back valve and internal by-pass valve

...and I did find a Baldwin filter, B40000, that has the right threads, anti-drain back valve, 8 psi internal bypass and what appears to be the correct gasket size, but it's a tiny little thing. I'd prefer something larger.

Oil filter with M18x1.5 threads, anti-drain back valve and internal by-pass valve

Well this is kind of embarrassing. About 15yrs ago, I rebuilt my engine. I don't remember every detail of the rebuild, but I do have a note about blocking the bypass in the pump because I was under the impression the bypass was weak and would essentially always let oil by. I don't remember...

Oil filter with M18x1.5 threads, anti-drain back valve and internal by-pass valve

Does anyone know if such a filter exists? The Wix site says the 51036 that is a popular choice in this forum does NOT have the internal by-pass. I can't find such a filter in the Baldwin catalog either.

Alternative Rocker Shaft Buttons (Stock Style Setup)

Wow. Old thread resurrected! Hope everyone is doing well. I haven't posted in a long time, but I'm still around and still have the GN. As for an update on this, I haven't touched this setup since I installed them almost 12yrs ago. The GN is my fair weather car so I don't drive it that...

    Gateway Arch, St Louis...

I was there last year. Pretty cool. I can post a few pictures if you want. I don't want to be a spoiler though so let me know. Oh yeah, like Gene pointed out, if you're claustrophobic, you'll just love the trolley ride up and down.

    Stamp Collecting

My nephew claims he's interested, but the collection is still boxed up just the way it was after my dad died 2 1/2 years ago so I don't know how interested he really is.

    Stamp Collecting

Are any of you TB.com members an avid stamp collector? My father was. He passed away a few years ago and his collection has been boxed up in my mother's apartment since. We moved my mother to a senior living facility a few weeks ago and we now need to do something with the stamp collection...

Seat fabric is sold. Is there a market for the foam and frames?

There's a spot or two that could be considered blemishes. Here's a picture of the biggest offender.

    Rear seats

Sorry, that's in the wrong direction. I usually make a trip east once a week. Going west toward PA on a 2 hr round trip to meet you half way would cost me ~$20 in gas. Not worth it for a $50 sale. Sorry. Mike

    Rear seats

Maybe. Depends on what direction y0u are coming from. Another member contacted me privately about the seats, but hey, first come first served.

Believe it or not, shipping to 92056 from 07849 for a 30lb box that's 60" x 30" x 18" is $263 with Fedex. It's too big for USPS. UPS was $298. This is just an estimate for now because it's still contingent on me finding a box big enough to put it in for shipment. I was at Home Depot a...
