Vacuum line to MAP sensor

Vacuum line to MAP sensor

I'm working on a friends 84 Grand National and I notice the plastic line coming form the MAP sensor on the right fender has been melted in two by the hot exhaust pipes at the turbo. I can't find where it originated. I've searched for some info on the web, but no luck. All I can find is copies...
