    Advice on cleaning emblems

That's weird that happened to those emblems, yet I looked at a GN that sat outside of a garage for almost 20 years, and the emblems looked great. We were actually talking about how the emblems feared so well, LOL. Must be a 'constant' moisture issue...

do fender trim and handles eventually show metal underneath?

I am about to replace my orginal wheel well trim as I bought new replacements years ago, and in looking at my old, dinged up originals, the factory set doesn't show any chrome coming through like in your pics. I'm pretty sure yours are painted over, chrome pieces. same with the handle. These...

    Translator in disguise

I live a 'smog' state, but even here you don't have to smog a vehicle once it hit's 25 years old. It does bring back some memories though on what I use to do to my GN to get it to pass. The 1st thing I did was to stop at a local strip mall near the test station and drop the fuel pressure and...

OLD MEMBER, Back in the Game...

Hey KC, still here I see! Yea, that may be true, but i'm still feeling old as hell, LOL. Like I said above, it's crazy how much you forget when your not in the TR game for awhile. But i'm trying to 'catch up' on most of what I use to know about these cars!

    Brake Pedal for Vac. Brakes?

Thanks. But I already have most of the parts. I just need the correct vacuum block. The one with the extra port. I believe they used them on the TTA. I've seen them on Ebay from Earl Brown, most likely going that route.

    Brake Pedal for Vac. Brakes?

I've heard you can use the orginal power master brake pedal when converting to vac. brakes. It just has to be drilled. Is this true? I would rather do that then replace the whole pedal when converting over. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Chuck. Yea, it's funny how much stuff you forget about these cars when you stop thinking about them. I have to 'relearn' everything, LOL!

OLD MEMBER, Back in the Game...

Hey guys. I was an active member here for years, but work and life got in the way, and the GN has been parked in the garage collecting dust. Now that I have some extra time, she's coming out. But not until I do some work to her. The power master is cycling on and off so i'm just going to replace...

    Eric Rankin?

Eric is out of the Turbo Buick game, has been for quite some time. I use to hang out at his shop in Manchester CT back in the day. He also worked on my 87 T. I haven't seen him in MANY years, but was told he's a mechanic working on BMW's and such now. I know his wife died many years ago, she was...

    covid

I listened to an interview on the radio this week with a flight surgeon who talked about this. He said there is absolutely NO REASON the FAA would do this unless most pilots are failing the test. And most importantly, the FAA WILL NOT SAY WHY THEY DID THIS. Makes ya want to fly now, doesn't...
