    Orange wire memory power question

So if that orange cable is just for "memory", which other cable supply power to the ECU? I am tracking a ECU voltage drop after doing the Casper fuse link kit and seems that I messed up that install as I have low voltage at the ECU, so low that affects sensor reading (TPS and bat voltage low...

New turbo, (6262 DBB) Oil in compressor

turbo flange was already 4 bolt. I was looking to replace my journal, tired exhaust leaking (worn oil seal) turbo. this would be the third time rebuilding it and the turbo shaft is unserviceable. Was cheaper to buy this other turbo than rebuilding it.

New turbo, (6262 DBB) Oil in compressor

Kind off Same diameter hose and fittings, different angle and curves. No more than 45 degrees at the turbo But previous turbo was journal bearings, thus more oil flow This one uses the restrictor.

New turbo, (6262 DBB) Oil in compressor

Nope, valve covers vented. Actually both valve covers are "driver" side, no hole for the vent. Didnt had any issue with the old turbo.

New turbo, (6262 DBB) Oil in compressor

Yes..but not from the turbine, its from the intake. Exhaust side is bone dry. Could it be that my air filter (KN) is too small and is causing a restriction?

New turbo, (6262 DBB) Oil in compressor

Just finished installing a brand new, out of the box, turbo (dual ball bearing, water cooled) Upon starting the car and driving it around, I noticed that oil was coming from the compressor housing to the intercooler. Using the turbo oil restrictor (came with turbo) and the same dia drain hose...

Starter runs even with no key

Finally solved my issue, as 1KWIKSIX said, the solenoid cable was twisted inside the starter and was jumping voltage from the battery toward the solenoid. When turning the key, the circuit was completed and the battery was suppling current to the solenoid, hence the issue. Thanks guys, be on...

Starter runs even with no key

Recently did the fuse link relocation kit from Casper (GREAT KIT). No shorts, wires are properly located, insulated, everything good and tidy. Connected the battery, turned the key to start the car and now the start kept running until the I disconnect the battery. Checked cables, fuse links...
