17x9's are Fbody specific offsets. The tire selection for 16x8's is nearly non existent (a couple 225 or 245 street tires and 255 or 275 drag radials). Before I installed my Ridetech suspension I had Eibach springs with Bilstiens and 16x8 GTA's with 225/50 Continentals and 255/50 MT ET SS drag...
Diamond was the supplier for Full Throttle. Have you reached out to them directly? I have a set of those pistons, 6.350 rods and a stroker crank in my 4.1.
16x8 wheels from a GTA Trans Am have been popular for a long time as they are very similar to GNX wheels. Problem is the tire selection is almost none existent now, especially in a matching staggered setup (245/50 & 255/50). You have to run a 245/50 on all 4 or run a 255/50, 255/55 or 275/45...
There's been survivor cars with toasted paint up to concours cars so don't feel like you need to have a show car. Show is Friday and Saturday, but most come just Saturday as that's the day judging takes place.

Still exploring, but doesn't appear to be a lot. Trifecta has a tune for it that adds 20ish whp on 91+ fuel. Exhaust could sound better, but no off the shelf options. Exterior wise some parts from the Opel and Vauxhall models can be swapped and there's some options for lips, spoilers, and...
