Looking for driver door sheet metal replacement - what works?
Ok? Thanks Mikester ...... and Wagon - glad to know about the patch panels! NOw for the years. The guy I talked with at the GM shop had a crash book that covered only the 82-87 RWD Regals and up. So the question we couldn't answer becomes, "Was the 81 door from the 2 door...- V6iated

Looking for driver door sheet metal replacement - what works?
There aren't any skins out there so I have been told Cutlass doors for 81-87 are the same as Regal 2 door. Is that true? (Looks like it) Are Regal 2 doors all the same for 81-87? Any help apprecitated. Thanks. Incidently - what a great site you guys have going. I could spend...- V6iated

Old guy new to board with new old project GN
Thanks for the greetings. I will try to do some reading - there is a lot - I want to learn as I go. My first duty is to get the V6 off the truck bed and on to the engine stand in the garage. I'm off to Hardware Heaven for some shackles to hook the cherry picker to the engine. Later.- V6iated

OK - here's my first rank amatuer & newby type question.
The engine on my newly acquired heap - it does not run. Previous owner took it and tranny out and put engine on a pallet. I have the use of a cherry picker with engine leveler and a engine stand. Feel free to laugh! :o I'm new at this stuff. Where do I attach the four chains...- V6iated
