helium
Tried it already, but wasn't able to confirm any improvements. The helium molecules are so small my tires were flat by the time I made it to the staging lanes, and the leaking helium was sucked up into my engine because the pitch went way up and it sounded like a formula one engine.- xlr8ngn

Fuel pressure too high
Not saying this is your issue, but something to check. Pressure gauges don't like vibration, and consumer gauges we can afford tend to be very cheaply made. Liquid fill helps mitigate vibration, but they still don't like it. Good practice is to tube up two gauges together and test 3 different...- xlr8ngn

The First Comp Turbo CTRX Hubless
Very cool. Looks like they have bleed holes to relieve the high pressure in the small area behind the turbine the when you let off the gas. You have to assume the grooves are intentional. I wonder if they reduce drag to centrifugally release the air, similar to golf ball dimples reducing drag.- xlr8ngn

Good stuff, can't argue with measurable results. One component generating a 15% step change is way beyond anything I was thinking and that it must be other changes. Bottom line, that's significant. They should just butt weld the inlet and exhaust turbines to the shaft, and build a split...- xlr8ngn

Machine shop in GA, TN, FL or AL
For some reason, the lack of machine shop referrals in my area doesn't surprise me. Should I highly consider sending my block out to the well know shops, or can I trust a local shop with a decent reputation? They all seem to have mixed reviews. My perception is a bore/hone using longer...- xlr8ngn

Machine shop in GA, TN, FL or AL
Checking to see if anyone can recommend a good machine shop to line bore/hone block with steel caps and girdle, bore .010, and deck for MLS gasket. Champion ported/polish heads
I have read where people put a copper wire in instead of steel, and the copper deforms and fills in the groove to run stock gaskets. I am not recommending this and have not done it myself, but worth researching.- xlr8ngn
