Just looking at a Golf 1.8T does anyone know what they run stock?

The R32 might break 14.0, though.

Honestly with todays gas prices I would by a Golf TiD if I had the $$

That's what a lot of people over here drive. Of course, this is because gas is about $4.85/ gallon.

When I drove to Munich, I had a Passat TDI and I was really impressed with the drivability and power it had. Not a GN, but still fun to drive... even has a turbo whistle. 140 mph on the autobahn too. Also drove a Golf TDI on the autobahn... did about 125. Not bad. If I was staying here, I'd buy one.
