hi guys
i was wondering how you would go about changing the quarter glass (two small windows by the rear seats)
The ones i have have unicorns etched into them, and BOY do they bother me so I want to replace mine and just need to know how

Thanks for your help in advance

UNICORNS ?????? Man what some people will do to deface a Buick!
I think I read somewhere that you take the inside trim panels off to get them out. I know the outer rubber can get weak so ya gotta take it easy with them. Other than that I'm no help. UNICORNS ??????????? You mean like the horse with the horn on it's head. What were they thinking. Oh well to each his own.

Fairly easy. I did this about a year ago when I got my car painted. Remove the trim, and you'll see 4 or 6 nuts on the inside holding the glass in. With someone outside the car, firmly/evenly press the glass out. Try to avoid getting the black adhesive on anything. Upon installation, use a thin bead of 3M Black Trim adhesive to help re-seal the new windows.

...Yeah more or less what he said... and yes you need to remove the interior 1/4 glass panels (the plastic ones) but in order to do so you'll need to carefully pull out the rear metal strip holding the headliner in. You could just rip the panels out... but then you would have worse marks on you car than UNICORNS!!! Bahahahhahaaaaaaaaaa!

If you need the glass email me.

DUDE...I'M so sorry....but

he he...

ha haHARHAR hahahahaha

good man though...changing it out.

DON'T use trim adhesive when you put them back in though. Use the black 3M strip caulk (butyl tape/dum dum tape I believe). Trim adhesive is not designed to seal stuff. I guess if you use enough it will but...the strip caulk will allow the window to easily be removed again and it's what the factory used as well. BUT as was stated, try not to get any of it (old or new) on anything. If you do some mild solvent will take it off.

Well thanx for the help and abuse :( haha
