TAKE NOTE OF THE HEAT WARNINGS!!
A sad story end for a really nice guy from Jamacia.....
He lived just south of me and rode his bike to work at the local gas station.
He had a car, but preferred the bike to stay in shape.
Yesterday, he died of heat stroke.
Only 50 yo.

3pm here in Phoenix and it's 109*, expected to go to 111*, but the humidity is only 30%.

Thunder storms in the forecast, just got a severe dust storm warning from the NWS.

The monsoons came early this year!

It topped out at 110*, then came the storm. It's been YEARS since I've seen it rain in June here. That never happens. We got a big dust storm followed by a really nice gully washer starting about 4pm.

It's only 86* now at 6pm, because the storm has passed, but it was a nice reprieve!

It will go back up to about 95* and then cool back off to an over night low of 87*.

This is Phoenix from late June until mid September. Highs in the 110* range, lows in the low 90's at night.

We usually get our record hot temps in June and August.

Like you that live in the cold, we just hunker down inside as much as possible. I feel bad for the construction guys.......

And there's always a pool or sprinkler .......
