Just curious if anyone has used alky on a turbo or super charged engine with around 11.87 to 1 compression, and how much boost was able to be ran?
I have a chance to buy a 4130 steel 383 stroker crank with JE pistons and rod/cam/alum heads setup for my LT1 that will bring it to 11.87 to 1 compression. I had planned on super charging or using a rear mounted turbo with only 5-7psi boost on the '95 TA, but afraid this setup will make it have way too much compression to make turbo/super charging feasible even with alky or other additive.....any thoughts?
Without boost, it will never be more than a 450 rwhp ride, and don't want to fool with nitrus.
