12" Brake Upgrade

Has anyone done the 12" upgrade on an 87 GN with stock wheels? I'm curious if I have to go with bigger wheels for this combo. Thanks in advance....

I will be doing the upgrade starting in a month or so. From my understanding 11" brakes work with the stock GN wheels. 12" you will definately need new wheels! HTH, Mike
