17 deg. of knkr retard @ IDLE!!! Whoa!

Recently sold my OTC 4000E to my buddy. Plugged it into his '85 at the track last weekend and started her up. With 15 gals 93/ 2 gals c-16 he had 17 deg. knkr just sitting at idle. Found the oil dipstick tube to be hitting the heater/ blower box shield, but it did not improve anything after we fixed it. Any ideas? Thanks Brian

Was the dump open?

I've seen brief but large KR at the track when I open the dump. It clears up quickly though.
