Was wondering if an 18x9.5 wheels with a +40 offset would fit on my 85 monte? Currently they have 275/35 tires on all four but would switch the fronts to 245/40. Anybody know if these would fit or would need a spacer? The car does looked to be dropped 2" or so all around, will that matter?

Anybody know? Got a guy waiting on me but since the monte doesnt run cant get them test fitted.

Rears are 18x9.5" here....... 5" BS (sorry dont pay attention to that mm crap) :) 275/40R18, aluminum drums, no rub........ however, each car is different! HTH

w/o knowing all the factors, only a test fit will be your 100% safe answer. If I am doing the math right, the 9.5" wheel on 0 offset is 4.75 B.S.+/-
If there is a +40 (that means +40mm on the lip and off rear spacing) making it 1.6"-1.8" less backspacing, making it like 3.25+/-". This sounds way offset for a lowered car.
