4 dr hardtop. 77k origianal miles, but someone along the line switched out the 430 with a 1970 code sf 455. runs and drives very nice. needs little odds and ends to be real nice. most of the interior is good. front seat has a seat cover because some of the seams have split. could be fixed. extremely clean underneat. no rust or holes anywhere. new springs, shocks and dual exhaust. only 2.25. i think in needs at least a 2.5. car is quiet.need heater core, but new one is supplied with it. $4000 obo located in cleveland oh.

Your black Electra is really nice. "Code A Regal Black" is the color. It has the best non STAGE I motor built. The SF was commonly used in Electras, Rivs, and non-STAGE I (SS Code) big block Gran Sports.

i know it runs well. ive never owned a 430 car so i cant compare. both of my other 455 cars are built up but this tank cruises along nice. price dropped to 3500 because i hate seeing it out in the snow.

$2800. thats what i have in it and i dont want to go any lower then that. id say its definatly worth that even now in the soft market.

dangit!! why do you have to be up in Ohio?!? I'd snatch this up in a heartbeat if it was closer, i miss having a big old black buick with a 455 (used to have a 67 skylark with GS hood and grill, 455 with the big-port 430 heads and a cam, painted black). Oh well, thats life i guess...

Someone should really buy this, those electras are sweeeet cruisers, and this is a great deal.

Best of luck selling it!!

I'd love to have this land yacht but I just don't have a big enough dock for it

Glad to see you finaly sold it.

well it seems i got ahead of myself, i go get the title notarized and everything, then the wife calls and say" im sorry i thought he was buying this as a daily driver not a project car, he cant have it". so its still for sale.

Man, I would REALLY like this car... if it weren't for the distance involved I'd be there in a heartbeat. Hell, I'd even trade my 85 GN for it. Not that this would ever happen, but if you happen to have the car down this way anytime soon consider it sold:smile:

Until that unlikely scenario, best of luck selling it. I can't believe you can't find a home for this beauty. One of my best friends has most of his family in Ohio, and I know they're all car guys, I'll have him pass along this link to them in case any are interested.

Again best of luck with the sale!

TTT for a great car and a great deal!
