1975 Hurst Olds rearend in GN???

I have one if these laying around and I need an 8.5 for a Gn project... Anyone know if its possible to put in a GN?

just be aware that the Length of the rear is going to be slightly longer . Not sure if you need to mod the drive shaft length.

no.. it won't work... the housings are totally different- i checked out the differences when i had my 74 Monte Carlo on jackstands with the T Type on jackstands right next to it.. the upper control arm moutning points on the mid 70's cars are up on top of the housing and about 6" apart, where the G body upper mounting points are about 9" apart and farther down on the side of the housing..

those UMI control arms are for using a 64-72 A body housing, not the 73-77 housing..
