1981 4.1 heads

Are 1981 4.1 heads part number 6293 any good? Or should I say are they as good as 8445 heads?

Some say the 6293 heads are better... If I remember right, the 6293 was similar to the stage 1 head in a production form.

NHRA considers the 6293 equal to the 8445 and I can run either head and still be legal in NHRA stock eliminator.

I'd say virtually no difference... But I'm sure this topic has been discussed at length here and a good forum search might yield good results.
