1982 limited compared to the sc?

What is the difference between the limited and the sc in 1982? The difference between the 82 GN and the limited is clear, but how about the sport couple?

Sport Coupes had the Turbo 3.8 V6 (and only the Turbo 3.8 V6).

Base and Limited Regals could have any engine but the Turbo 3.8 V6.

The Sport Coupes were exclusively the Turbo V6.

All Turbo V6's were 3.8's (No factory Turbo 4.1's).



Many times Regal in general are refered to as "Sport Coupes" because they are coupes and sporty (especially when compared to the rest of the Buick line-up), but technically only the Turbo Regal was the "Sport Coupe" in 1982.

Thanks for the info the reason i ask was because my car has the factory t-tops, gn looking interior (the gray with pin stripes), and the 4.1. I thought it might be a sport coupe but I guess not. Thanks for the info

I matched the vin numbers on my 82 and came to find out it is just a basic REGAL with a 4.1.
