I recently purchased a Buick Regal T with a V-8 LV2 option. The original motor was replaced with a chevy 350 cu. in. I want to install a turbo V-6 intercooler 231. How much work is ahead for this project?

Be prepared for a lot of work and a parts car for all the stuff

Will need

Complete fuel system from gas tank to the engine (Part of the lines run between the frame and the body so it a real treat to switch)

Complete wiring harness, not only the engine harness, but the one behind the dash, which include the fuse box. The engine wiring harness requires removal of the passenger fender and inner fender to swap.

Complete heater box if it is the one used on a Limited since the AC condenser is deeper into the engine compartment.

Differential since the Olds V8 car has a 7 1/2 not the Turbo Regal 8 1/2

The drive shaft is 1/2 shorter for the turbo regal

A BRF transmission since the 200 R4 for the Olds engine does not need to be strong

There are so many small items that the list would go on and on. I have completed a swap from an Olds small block to turbo in a Regal and would not do it again. Well after driving the car a bit maybe . . . . .

Well if you have a donor car to get everything from it should be cake. now if you want to part everything it will become a PITA and you will spend more than actually purchasing a real Regal TT or a GN. i recently purchased a crashed ttype and a rolling chase GN as long as you have time to do everything you should be fine but dont expect to do everything in one shot. its very difficult. i didnt realize until i starting taking apart the t type that there were so many sensors and connectors. Buy a GN repair manual or wiring book that shows you all the wiring and vacuum. you should be fine. hope it works out for you.
