2009 Orlando World Street Nationals

Here is a few pics from today..alot of turbo cars in 10.5 class with 10 cars running over 200mph..Tim lynch was #2 qualifier with 6.68 @ 232mph.This year's turnout is great.Steve king in his new camaro and the sandman putting on a show this year.mike moran and the hitman hill qualified as well..one buick showed up this year to run,will try to get pictures on the buick tommorrow with a few video clips.

Yes that's right,xtreme imports running 7.30's @ 190mph with rotary engines..

It was a great turn out and had a lot of fun. I was there Friday and Saturday. Those imports were very impressive..

The gold camaro won heavy street and twin turbo mustang won super pro street and was number #1 qualifier with a new track record of 6.26 @ 237 mph.The turbos are a pair of 94mm turbos with engine by proline race engine.driver corby raven,new comer to the class said the engine was right 3000 horsepower.

both cars went 6.66 @ 222mph,
lynch got the win light,but lost to ulrich in the finals..
In the finals lynch broke loose,got out off the grove and shut it
down at mid track..

xtreme import set a new track record and driver's personal best with a 7.11 et @ over 190mph.
The imports where given a chance to win a extra 1k to the car to hit the first 6 second past at the end of the race,but no one came up with the win.Maybe next year we will see the first 110 cubic in rotary import run 6 seconds.

I must say that this year was the best street nationals I have ever been to with alot of turbo and supercharged cars running over 200 mph .Each year the bar is being raised in all classes,It's amazing how much power can be made with these power adders and with 110 cubic inch imports running low 7's.If you want to see this years action you can purchase the dvd from power house video,orlando world street nationals 2009.should be out by january 2010,but contact them for info...

I had a great time.One of the best street nationals for me at orlando.I may try to make reynolds also..So far I have loaded up to 25 videos on youtube for you guys to enjoy.will add more later..
