Top 4 were in but Mike Booher broke and Mike Erickson was then in the #4 spot

Names were put into a hat and pulled out to pair up the competition and then L and R were put into the hat to make the lane choice. I seem to have "misplaced" the run sheets for this class but I can tell you it was John Z vs. Rod H in the final with Rod coming out the winner. Congratulations Rod!

I will look again for the sheets and if I find them, I will post all the information.

Now that's some payouts!! wow! A big thanks to all the vendors / donors that throw in to make this event give away some of the biggest pay outs all around! The BPG event is a nice place to make some money with that hair drier! :)

"TSO: This class is in jeopardy if we don't get a full field" :( As long as we have two cars and no pay out what is the down side for the BPG ? Would have just been three less cars and the folks that came with them .

We contrary to popular belief want to have a full field and give you guys good payouts. Give me some new benefactors to call who wish to contribute to the class and ill make it happen. Many big name Buick part builders give gift certificates and scoff when i ask for cash because they want to see the money spent at their business. It makes sense to anyone including myself who runs or owns their own business.

Believe me id love to make every class winner takes home $1k. But that is easier said then done. Ill get it done but people need to give me some new blood to help support the Buick cause!

I think you missed the point . If we are willing to show up and race for little or no pay out how does it hurt the BPG to give us a place to race ?

It means we may not pay out to that class.. again TSO asked if they could run at NTR and we said yes. It was never discussed if there would even be any payouts for that or the other Turbo Heads up classes. The BPG has no control over class rules. We provide a venue for those classes to Run. As Tony said before if any of the heads up guys had contacted a vendor and asked for specific class payouts we would of done that.

Good deal. I took your post to mean that the class wouldnt have a place to run. For me it was never about the payout. It is nice to get it but i would be glad just be able to run the class.
