anyone know how the idle of a comp cams 218-212 ductile roller is? what about the 212-212. anyone running either?

some one found the caps lock key!

why to go, your learning young pad-won.

I currently run the 210/210 ductile on my T Type and the 214/214 billet roller in my TSM car. Both cams are Copms, both have the same lift. On the TT the idle is smooth but you can tell its not stock. This car has big valve irons with stock everything else.In my opinion the more radical the car is the more you can notice the idle.My 214 idles just as nice. But i guess because of the big port alim GN1s, exhaust,3.5 in DP , ATR headers ect... its sounds more radical. Both like to idle at 800 to 900 in my opinion.

I have the Comp 212, sounds and idles just like any other stock car. These turbo cars I understand need to have the same -in and out- lift and duration so you will not get the radical cammy sound like a bad azz small block. I guess if you would want that sound you could take off a vacuum line. Then it sounds cammy. Doesn't run for sh*t, but sounds good.
