I am looking for some advice. Will 245 60 15's fit with out rubbing or scrubbing the the car on stock GN rims? Or if in doubt just stick with 235 60 15's.
Thanks in advance

You'd probably be alright with the 245/60/15s on the back but they may rub some in front. A lot depends on the state of your shocks and springs. I'm running 275/50s on the back and 225/60s up front on my car.

I ran nitto dr 275/50 and had to use spacers, then changed out to dunlop 265/50 which use no spacer and look as good as the nittos

235/60 on the front

I just put 235/60 on the front and 255/60 on the rear. No worries on clearance, but I didn't think I could fit a 275. Aren't 275/50 ~25.5" tall, and 275/60 ~28" tall?

I've got 235/60 out front and 275/50 out back. all 15x7" rim, Enkei GNX try-to-look-a-like-GNX wheel LOL.

I have 275/50/15 BFG Radial TA's out back with no rubbing.

Question 1: Are they on stock GN rims?
Question 2: If so, are your 87 rims the same size/BS of the 85 GN/ T rim?

EDIT: just found this:
"""15x7 with 4" BS is the same as the original GN rims, not the same as the Ttype rims though which had 3.75 BS.
275/60/15 will fit on the 4" BS, 275/50/15 will not."""

Front Max Tires Size Again?

I'm about to put new front tires on my 87 GN with stock rims. Backs are BFG 255 60 15's. Has anyone had success with the 245 60 15's on front? or is it safer to go with the 235 60 15's?

I have the Kirban GNX look a like 15x7" rims, question is has anybody tried a 275-50-15 size tire on these rims? Will they fit or rub the frame?
