3.8 Turbo and 3.8 carbureated Any Difference?

is the 3.8 turbo in the 86' - 87' GN the same as the regular regal engine if so what years were the same?

All the parts are the same between the 86 and 87 turbo engines and their non turbo counterparts with the exception of the crankshaft and pistons. The rolled fillet "turbo" crank can be had from an '80-84 4.1 liter motor and pistons will more than likely be replaced at rebuild time with forged ones.
