3.8 turbo and non turbo

i have an 87 gn and was wondering what was the difference in motors.between a non and turbo 3.8 liter, i realize the turbo and injection but was wondering about long block. are the head valves smaller, different pistons? one thing i do see is no oil return hole.

A couple of things that I know of, the turbo pistons are a stronger design. And the crankshaft has rolled fillets to reduce the chance of cracking. I think that the exhaust valves are a better material to withstand the heat.
