4.1 block casting out of 82 pontiac?

What casting number should the 82 bonneville have with 4.1 v6?...291?

The only way to know for sure is to look. The 2 I found were not supposed to be in the cars that I pulled them from. Example: I pulled a Cadillac only 4.1 block from an all original Regal.

Gotcha...may just go ahead and get it. Found acomplete core that isnt to far away. Just wasnt able to get casting number from person. From what ive seen the 291 and 553 were good...484 had been mentioned to be weaker prone to cracking.

I have a 4.1L engine intake to oil pan for sale. It is out of an 83 regal with 25,000 original miles. The car was mint, but it was hit in the back quarter. I have pics of the car. Just thought I would mention it. If interested, please give me a call.

I also have a NOS 4.1L carb to oil pan with a 291 block. It was never run except at the factory on propane to test. Again call me if interested.
