400 vs 350

No transmission man here! Just curious why a 400 is preferred over a 350 in these turbo cars when changing from a 2004r. Thanks LArry

No expert here either, but I think the 400 fits without changing or modifying the crossmember.The 400 is also a pretty tough tranny.

i agree turbobuicksix .also the 400 is available with several custom planetary gear ratios allowing the transmission ratios to be custom tailoredto an engines power curve,a specific vehicle weight and rear end ratio.these ratios im[prove acceleration and promote traction .for a more in depth description check out www.ckperformance.com.there is a wealth of information on both transmissions.
