If Ur not afraid of some boost 450whp can be done without heads or a cam.

Bigger turbo maybe something like mine or a newer 6262
60lb injectors
Bigger intercooler
Walbro 340 hot-wired
Tt chip.
Ptc 9.5 in converter
Razors Alky control
And ur trans beefed up

450 HP +/- what does it take? Cam, heads, upgraded turbo?

Your not going to get 450 RWHP from a V6 on low boost. Thats 550-600 flywheel HP.

Stock the motor made 250 at low boost. With a larger roller cam, stroker, aluminum heads, larger turbo, and tuning you can get it there.

Or turn the boost up on a stock block and make the power.

This is higher than 450 RWHP without touching the motor. But he's willing to run higher boost to get his goals.

Thanks guys, all great info. I was actually looking for 450 ish crank HP, rear wheels would be great, but this will be more of a cruiser. I already have a ride that puts 800 hp and 1000 ft lbs at the rear wheels. I am putting the engine in a very original 81 Turbo Trans Am, I know it has been done, but it will still be cool.

If its a cruiser, leave it bone stock=reliable

Put go fast parts.. your asking for an issue.

What Razor said...heh..Do: chip, exhaust an air filter an Crusie it...8^)..go into the suspenion instead, make it handle..want to go fast add some race gas an 21psi boost

This is my goal on my '84. 450whp and 500+wftlbs on a stock long block and I'm nearly there, This year('11) I might finally make that mark and pass it.
