Someone on v8buick had a force-fed 350 and it made nearly 1000 hp. On teardown they said it looked perfect.

That force-fed 350 made more than 1000 hp. I think it was closer to 1050hp. The funny part of that story is that they used a stock cast iron 4bbl intake with a 5 inch carb spacer.

This guy took a complete stock 455 from a 73 riv and went 11.00 at 120 in a 4000lb gs leaving it in drive shifting at 5000 rpm's 93 octain and 5 psi F1R. The mods to the stock motor are a hemi killer cam, headers, and a sp1 intake. The motor had the stock valve springs in it with a 130k on the motor. The pass in the video was with 7 PSI with a new motor. There is not much more done to the motor in the video. You can pm him on V8buick.com to ask him what he did to his latest motor to go 9.30's. It is cheaper than building a stage motor. He drives this car all over on the street to local car shows. Im sold on this combo. I forgot he still leaves at idel 1.30 60ft and it stays in drive at lets it shift at 5500 rpm.4000lbs:eek:
