4th Gear

I know my chip is set for lock up,and I run a 9/11 3000 stall converter.Now I have to see why its not locking, took it out with direct scan running and It never showed it going into 4th gear.

Yes it was in overdrive but 3rd was as far as direct scan showed. Any one know what could be wrong?and if that is what causing it not to lock.

Possible the TCC switch went bad. Do a search on this board (TCC switch" and you'll find numerous posts on how to diagnose if the TCC is working/not working.
