50 lb injectors and stock hotair computer.

I'm getting close to installing my rebuilt engine, which has been reconfigured to 86-87. I have 50 lb injectors for the buildup, but haven't yet installed an 86-87 computer with aftermarket chip. I'd like to crank the engine with the stock computer since I know it works, and I want to fire the motor right away to break in the cam properly. Can I break the engine in with the 50 lb injectors and the stock hot air computer, or will the two not be compatable?

It will run extremly rich. I would wait till you get the right ecm and chip.

Is there a 50 lb chip for the hot air ECM available? The thing I'd like to avoid is not wiring something properly the first time, then being unable to crank the engine.

Caspers can probably custom burn you one. Run you about 80 bucks.
