In one blurb they've mentioned the tranny controller is embedded in the tranny.. Without an aftermarket controller, or access to the code that runs it, there's not much you can do with it.

But, yes, it looks to be a nice piece.

I would wait. Looking at the initial track record (the first couple of years) of the 200, 440T-4, & 700R4 won't make me hold my breath. Yes, they all got better, but they kept Dealer Warantee repairs going.

GM should be offering it as an aftermarket piece. They had an article about it in a magazine, can't find it now, but it sounded like a pretty nice setup. It made it sound like the controller was actually aftermarket-friendly.
