87 GN grill install

When installing a 87 gn grill, can you install the emblem after the grill is on the car? I have a new grill to install but I jave no emblem. I will place emblem on grill when I get a new emblem. Thanks for responses in advance.

Possible, but it would really be easier out of the car.

I would just wait until you get the emblem. Dont want to risk messing up your new grille.

I have a grille emblem I dont need its in great shape 87 gn make me an offer...

Believe it or not, I installed a new Buick emblem with the grill still on the car....unhooked the springs and stuck my hand up through the black flap to reach the old nuts.....it can be done.
