87 GN. No motor or trans. 155k miles on the body. Absloutely no rust. I bought this car back in 03 as a daily driver. Low option car with no power windows or door locks.
It was repainted not long before I bought it. Its basically a 20 footer. Nice enough to take to a local car cruise, but not a show car. The front driver's side fender was dented. I had it messaged by a local dent wizard. Its not perfect, but its better than it was. That's the worst part of the body. The previous owner put fiberglass bumper fillers on. I added the fiberglass hood and front bumper.
The interior is in very good shape. The worst part of it was the driver's seat and the headliner. I replaced them both. The carpet has some fabric missing under the driver's side front mat, but its not visible with the mat in. It has a 6pt chromoly rollbar with swingouts and a removable crossbar. This was still a street car, so I wanted to make it as user friendly as possible. The main bar and swingout kits are from S&W. I had the bar installed by a very well known race car chassis guy here in the Pittsburgh area. The rear bars go down through the stock speaker holes. I moved the rear speakers closer together.
It has an 8.5" rear with 28 spline moser axles and eaton posi unit. It probably has about 20 passes on it leaving on the footbrake. The frontmount, skinnies, and exhaust in the pics aren't included with the car. It will have 4 decent GN wheels. Also has a single XP pump.
I ran it in TSM in 08 at BG and Norwalk. I basically brought a very small knife to a gunfight. It went 10.15-10.20s all week in BG with home ported heads and a 206 roller cam. I lifted both heads enough for water to start getting into the motor. I tore it down that fall, and basically haven't done anything with it since. I hate selling it. I'm a Buick hoarder. I just hate seeing it sitting here when someone else could put some badazz drivetrain in it and have some fun with it.
$6000.00. Located 45 minutes south of Pittsburgh. I can help with deilvery for fuel money. Hell, I might even bring it to BG. I'll also get some pics of the trunk and under the hood. The batteries died in my camera.
Thanks for looking.
