The core box I sent in had 66k on it and was leaking a bit and still had the factory stamp with the correct code indicating it was the “high-feel” ratio box & hadn’t been a replacement. I sent it out to Lee power steering in California for him to blueprint it and do his upgrades (still keeping the same steering ratio) and bench test it for proper functionality with GM power steering fluid (which is still inside the steering box). He did the box in Feb. of 2008 as his mark on the steering box shows in the pic. Its been kept in a climate controlled room since I received it and looks like new! No rust, corrosion, stripped threads or messed up splines. I am a picky person about car stuff. I would have no problem putting this on a concours restoration vehicle. The steering box has the correct sheen of black for under the hood. I would prefer this to be picked up locally due to its heavy weight. More pics are available upon request. I paid well over $500 in getting this box done. I’m asking $500.

The reason I’m getting rid of this is I got Lyme disease bad so I need to sell all the car stuff. I am willing to ship these if necessary and accept Paypal (but you have to pay the receiving funds fees). I may be contacted at 717-873-2506 between the hours of 10am-8pm. No texts please. I will not ship this overseas.

After talking to Lee tonight I am lowering the price down to $400 OBO since he doesn't bill them at the same rate anymore.

This thing does weigh in at 30lbs so shipping isn't cheap as one of the members has grumbled about who was interested. I don't gouge on shipping! So just keep this in mind if you are looking at getting this shipped rather than picking this up in person.

I'm willing to accept multiple USPS money orders (I won't accept any other issuer of money orders!) since I don't think they will let you make a single one out for that much.
My conditions with money orders are that you have a week from when you say you are sending them for them to arrive (sending them priority with tracking is recommended). I am not liable for money orders lost in the mail. And your item will not be shipped until the postal money orders totally clear with my bank after I deposit them. This will help save you about $10+ in paypal fees.

I got nailed by a money order a while back. Two months after it was deposited the bank took money from my account because the money order was no good. Postal money order is the only way to go because if its no good the feds get involved
