A/C Problem

i have a 86 grand national and the a/c blows cold but it blows out of the defrost vents. I think its a vacume problem but i dont know witch one it is. please help

Look for any vacuum leak. Car defaults to defrost

Check your selector on the back of the ac selector unit, most are 9 port. if the cables are hooked up wrong it could be the problem, mine was broken you can get them cheap 9 bucks or so...i hope this helps.

A/c

Check the vacum line going to vacum ball

Check the black hard plastic lines that run on the firewall above the A/C box. They connect through the firewall to 2 more lines I believe they are a purple and white ones. They go through by the wiring harness behind the ECM. I had mine come off of the connector that is installed in the firewall.
