Hey crowd. I did some research, but surprisingly did not find much help.

When I bought my car, I had gauges everywhere: two on the A pillar in an ugly add on pod, two underneath the radio and the stock non-working dash RPM and boost. I solved some of it by converting to GNX dash. The factory boost gauge only goes to 15 psi, and kind of hard to see. So I just want to add an aftermarket single boost gauge to the A-pillar, where it's easiest to see.

I tried to find good A-pillar holders, but the full pillar, dual, ones leave a large gap when the door is open, and the single add on looks like this:

Nice size gap between the windshield and the pillar

Cleanest install would be with double tape, but it's not heat friendly

Any help and suggestions, would be greatly appreciated.

Happy Independence Day!

Yeah, I'm not thrilled with my dual A-pillar holder fitment either. Gaps are big. I had planned on going back to the original with a single, so I'm interested in what comes out here. I thought the GBodyParts single that fits over the original was screwed into one of the existing holes. I guess not.

Maybe a whole lot more tape??? I'm not a fan of taping stuff either though. I opened a new two-pack of shaving cream this morning & the cans were stuck together with some MASSIVELY sticky scammer crap. It was about as sticky as it gets without being super glue. Not sure of its heat-resistance though. Good luck, I'll be watching this thread.

I just matched mine up with the original and drilled it to match. A couple of slightly longer screws and done.

I think mine is an Autometer pod, dual gauge. I bought it way back, like 2000.
