I curious to know if the 82 GN's came with a F41 front suspension similar to a 86 GN, and if so was the power steering valve different from a N/A Regal?
The reason for this question is.........

I swapped over to my 82 Regal a Grand National quick ratio power steering box and pitman arm, I've also got the the GN's front sway bar.

To help make the my Buick 455 swap into the Regal easier, I left the power steering pump on it from the 71 Lesabre it came from, but swapped out the valves ( from my dead 231 V6) so the metric lines would hook up with no fabbing.

My question is should I use the power steering valve from the 86GN or a 82 GN or is using the stock 231 valve OK?

The reason for this question is this link I got from a recent thread on power steering box swap and valves.

http://jeffd.50megs.com/Pump_valve_mod_page.htm

I would like for the steering to respond like it did in the GN so far it seems to ( I think)..... but that link made wonder and I had to ask.

Thanks
