Adjusting the wastegate problems

Okay, soI took the C clip off my adjustable wastegate, adjusted it, but now I can't get the ****in thing back on so I can put the C clip back on. I know I'm not explaining this very well but does anyone understand my problem? After adjusting the wastegate, the little hole that I have to get the post into is too far away for me to get the post into...

I understand what you mean.

First you need to figure out if it is actually physically impossible to get the arm back on. Make sure the wastegate puck is all the way shut so that it is as close as it can get to the arm may need someone to hold it there. So if you cannot pull the arm out far enough at this point you are going to have to lengthen the arm until it reaches. Make sure you give it some slack because it has to move far enough to push the wategate puck open.

Now go out and check your max boost. And adjust accordingly.
