Example if you run lower timing it will raise your EGT and lower your O2 sensor voltage. Not saying you cannot tune with a narrowband, I have personally seen a 109 motor tuned into the mid 9's on a scanmaster and (afs20)narrow band sensor. The wideband when accurrate saves times and parts breakage.
