Typical alcohol system is comprised of a reservoir, pump, nozzle, and a way to tell the pump to fire.
On the stuff I do, I use braided hoses due to pressures that can be run, the shureflow pump(methanol compatible), and the factory GN overflow for storage. Along with a filter to keep nasties away from the nozzles before the pump.
Add on items that everyone has been buying has been the low alcohol sender to warn of a low alcohol condition.
The progressive requires a 3 bar MAP sensor to track feed amounts into the motor. A 2 bar (fact GN) runs out at 15 PSI for tracking..hence the 3 bar. Search under PAC
If you add up dollars and cents, it will pay for itself in a couple months..let alone the car is always in set to kill mode. No dual tune-ups.
Depending on the style of pump used will determine if lube is needed or not. With the shureflow..lube is a nono. On the EFI pumps or SMC kit..yes. If your buying race gas, you more than likely have access to methanol. Its what the race cars burn at the track.
typical install time is a few hours probably 4-5. I sell prefabbed lines, nozzles, tanks,etc.. to make it plug-n-play easy. Some use rubber hose and clamps..its cheaper..but I like the added safety braided hose provides.
Hope I have provided some info and help you get on the road to installing your system. Any questions.. ask/search/or call..i'm here to help
