Aluminum Drive Shaft with trans brake?

Say mid to low 10's max. Will it hold? Any experience with the aluminum drive shaft?

They tend to be larger to make up for the strength loss over steel so they take up more room. I would stay away from anything that was made from 6061 and not made from 7075 but at that point the shaft becomes expensive.
