Aluminum GN rims

What is the safest product to clean the new style aluminum Gn rims? I’ve been told dawn dish soap and water? Kinda Leary on using aluminum rim cleaner like eagle 1 or any retail type cleaner and also what type of polish to protect them? Thanks!

Depends what Alum wheels you have. Budniks are billet centers and welded on cast rings. No clear coat.
The Goodmarks are cast I believe. Not sure about any coatings. Maybe others can chime in.

I've seen both up close and would be proud to have either on my car.

I polish my Budniks with aluminum polish.
